I wanted to leave this review for KAL LAW because they helped me not once, but TWICE. I worked with Moises and Martin. I was hit by a drunk driver (whilst having alcohol in my system) and I was charged with a DUI. It was unfair, and I felt very bitter with the world. I understand now ZERO alcohol is the true limit behind a moving vehicle. I was taught so much about how the law works from them and how to prevent further issues. The following year I was hit AGAIN and they helped me with my insurance claim. It was really hard on me, being rear-ended twice in 3 years or so (especially having my 3 month old in the car at the time). They helped me get the therapy and compensation I needed to heal from it. My only regret is not going to them for my insurance claim in the first accident. After being helped with the DUI I decided, if I ever need any legal help I can say, "let me call my lawyer." They're here for life. Btw my case never resulted in a suspension of my license or the DUI conviction. :)

I cannot thank KAL Law enough. They are true gentlemen, very humane, and experts in their field. From my first interaction, I was treated with utmost dignity, respect, and honesty.

Here's my story:
A van hit me as I was crossing the street (with the pedestrian light on green). I flew to the floor and was screaming from the pain; I was rushed to the ER and found out that I had a broken knee and need surgery urgently.

That same night I googled lawyers and hired a lawyer (whose name I will not disclose as a courtesy). The very next day the lawyer's representative came over to my house to do all the paperwork. The rep was very excited to have my case and kept mentioning that I was in great hands and that I'd be compensated generously for this misfortune.  

It turns out the van that hit me was a commercial vehicle (and usually commercial vehicles have big policies). Hence, the lawyer and rep were sure my case was worth at least 100k.

Days passed, and the communication wasn't as it was initially.  All of a sudden the rep seemed uninterested in my case.  He would no longer take my calls; that was very humiliating. I figured something was wrong. The last time I spoke with the rep he insinuated that there was nothing they could do. That's when I decided to switch lawyers and hired KAL Law after reading their awesome reviews. It was a great decision.

Martin was my case manager and had great communication with me at all times. He always treated me with respect and was patient to address my all concerns. At one point, Moises, the attorney, called me to explain in detail why my case was taking longer than anticipated. He explained that the "commercial van" that hit me belonged to a non-existent business; and to make matters worse, the vehicle was uninsured.

I was demoralized and pretty much thought that Moises was going to say the same thing the other law firm said, "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do." But he didn't say that. He actually cheered me up with his down-to-earth personality, "Don't worry Mr. Salazar! There are actually different ways to skin a cat. We still have other options. We'll stay in touch."

Weeks and months went by and I pretty much thought it was over. But miraculously, one unexpected day, Martin informed me we were approaching the finish line and was going to receive a substantial check in a few weeks.

And sure enough, a few weeks later, my case closed. I walked out of the offices of KAL Law with a nice check, a big smile, and a grateful heart. 5 solid stars to KAL Law.
